ROHEALTH - Cluster for Health and Bioeconomy is pleased to announce its involvement in three new Horizon Europe projects launched in 2025 - SPARKUP, BOOST and ARCOE.
Although they have a distinct scope, the projects share a common ambition: to expand career opportunities, encourage cross-sectoral collaboration and increase research excellence in Europe’s enlargement countries.
SPARKUP - Strengthening CBRNE talent development and cross-sectoral innovation
- The SPARKUP project strengthens Europe’s capacity to address chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosives (CBRNE) threats by investing in people. Over 48 researchers from the enlargement regions will gain new skills through secondments, modular training and a dedicated Centre of Excellence linking academia, industry and public authorities.
BOOST - Building Outstanding Opportunities for Science and Talent
- The BOOST project bridges the gap between academic discovery and market impact. Sixty early-career researchers will follow a 12-month mobility programme combining work placements, mentoring and five tailored learning modules delivered through the BOOST Learning Environment and the ERA Talent Scheme.
ARCOE – Advancing Research Careers and Organisational Excellence
- The ARCOE project creates a virtual talent innovation hub where 15 organisations can improve their HR practices, align with the HRS4R (Human Resources Strategy for Researchers) framework and offer integrated networking, training and matchmaking services. The hub focuses on digital transformation, deep-tech and green innovation themes relevant to enlargement countries.
ROHEALTH will contribute its expertise in health innovation, skills development and ecosystem engagement to all three consortia. Together, these projects strengthen our commitment to inclusive innovation and a resilient European research landscape.
